Creative Counseling Session

 Let's explore together what makes your heart sing, and then support that to flourish. I am a non-judgmental guide for you and I'll encourage you to soar without self-judgment or fear. 

Let us dare to live full lives without limits.


We'll create a path that can help free you to explore what prevents you from doing what you want, and being fulfilled. I'm here to encourage you, guide you, and work with you so that you can express and experience what you truly desire.  


We can work via Zoom, in your home, or in my home, or be creative in where we meet. We can meet one time, or establish a more regular relationship. I'm here for you and the sky is no limit. Only our mind is.

Art Improv Session

You may have heard that art heals. I believe that we can let go of our preconceived notions about our innate capacities, through action. When we do that, we create an inner freedom that can heal us in that very moment. 


 For me, it was my imagination that led me through childhood and has always been my companion. Many have shared with me that they're "not creative" and I always listen in disbelief. I believe we are all creative beings, with so much to explore. We can appreciate, experiment and express through any or many: Watercolors, sketching, collage, clay and wood sculptures. Imagination will guide us. 


We don't have to compare our work to culture's "masterpieces" as that can set us up for failure. The masterpiece is in trying to bring to life what is unique to you, and which NO OTHER could create. Childhood trauma and shame can prevent us from expressing ourselves, though we yearn to. I'll support you in starting fresh, and saying "I can!" Healing comes with trying. 

Mushroom and Garden Forays

Mushrooms are amazing medicine, culinary treats, and friends. I first fell in love with them in 2021 and the passion increases with every new find. The excitement of searching for mushrooms in our beautiful upstate New York forests, and the medicine they offer us against all manner of dis-ease, are epic pleasures.  


Let me take you into the forest to mushroom hunt, tree identify, and explore like kids again. 


 I also offer lessons and assistance with edible gardening landscapes, and permaculture design projects.  I love all of Nature's gifts, growing our own food, nurturing our home environment, and foraging herbs and fungi in the city landscape. And it's so fun to share the extras!

Learn Meditation

There are so many types of meditation from Zen to Vipassana, to open eye sky gazing to mantra recitation, from all corners of this magnificent earth we inhabit.  If you've been wishing to establish a regular meditation practice, but don't know where to start, let me support you in this.  With years of meditation study and practice, I'll help you find the right fit and point you towards teachers who can show you the way home to the heart, based on tried and true lineage-based practice.  


Guides are everywhere. Meditation helps us to become grounded with what is here and now. Presence with what is is a daily practice, and when we open more to that reality, we feel more ease and trust. To whatever degree we can relax more fully, this is accomplishment.  


Finding our way to a sense of freedom and joy can take time, yet every step we take brings more peace and satisfaction. 

Let's loosen up what holds us back from our heart's deepest bliss. 

Connect with Prayer

Giving thanks each day for what we have, making prayers for the well-being of ourselves and others, is powerful medicine. Whether you are living with anxiety, fear, or other stresses, prayer can help. Sometimes it's as simple as remembering what we have, rather than focusing on what we don't have, that can create an environment for healing. 


We forget how powerful our thoughts and intentions are until we begin to connect more with this daily practice. Moment to moment we give thanks and can find gratitude for even our challenges.


I'll assist you in creating daily times and rituals for giving thanks. A little mindful planning may at first seem forced, but over time becomes part of our daily habits that we look forward to. Over time we can feel the benefit to ourselves and to those around us. 

Dance and Free Movement

If you're a shy dancer, let creative encouragement and play guide you.  I will act as your guide, friend, and muse. I don't judge!  Sometimes all it takes is a bit of support, and we can soar in ways we only dreamed of before.  Moving our bodies feels good, and sometimes we just don't think of dancing as something that can benefit us as much as other habits we rely on:  caffeine, technology, work. 


Dance to the music of your dreams, move to the beat that is within, feel good in your body! Choose a soundtrack, spin like a child, move as you feel moved to, soar with imaginary wings to your favorite songs, imagine it and let's create the container for it to happen.

* You offer so many diverse services -- I'm confused about where to start. What do I choose?  


--  Let's set up a consultation at no cost, so that we can discover together what can benefit you most. Is it your health? Your garden? Need a portrait commissioned? We'll figure it out together.


* I'd like a pet portrait. Does my pet have to stay still and pose? 


--  You will provide me with multiple images of your pet in their happy spot, with their fave fun toy/s, let me know your favorite colors, themes, etc.   We'll talk best size for you (16"x20'? or 3'x3' or a smaller 10"x12"), other specifics I should know about.   You'll get a draft to approve. I'll do the rest.
